Maybe he was my friend. Someone who had been beside me for years and years, a constant companion, the kind who laughed at my jokes and made fun of me when I did something stupid. A man who enjoyed my company right until the point where he didn't, at which time he decided a knife in my back was the only way for us to end. And then, regretful, he walked away, trying hard not to look at what he had done to someone who had once been so close to him.

Was it a memory? It was hard to tell. There was something familiar in the warmth of it, and yet it was still so very alien. Had I felt this before? A small sigh escapes my lips as I prepare Hanna's breakfast. Potatoes O'Brien and eggs. I look over my shoulder again and that feeling creeps back. That familiar but alien tension in my chest.
He snores softly. Not an annoying wheezy snore; just light and breathless. When he tosses in his sleep he manages to tangle himself in the single blanket spread over him. Hanna fights; fast asleep. It was a brilliant plan, and he was absolutely positive nothing could go wrong.
Hanna rocked back and forth on his heels in anticipation, darting glances at the clock every five minutes of so. Bryden would be coming back any minute with the chocolate chips for the pancakes he was making, (they weren't even made yet and they already sounded delicious!) , and that was when Hanna was going ask him. The man was bound to say yes if he could only get him by surprise.

It was brought to my attention that I uh NEVER POSTED THIS ONE HERE, MY BAD.
this is sort of kind of a sequel to head is spinning round and regrets and mistakes. it's more directly a side story to throw every last care away. it's for
! she had been doing art of Zombie in different clothes, which inspired the Zombie/Hanna side of this story, and which she then did EVEN MORE ART for! and then I said "hey what should I write next" and this is what she said so then I did and here it is 
it's actually uh. like two weeks old by now or something! OOPS I should remember to post things more regularly. of course doing it this way makes it seem like I am a fic writing machine which is pretty funny.

hnnnngh I love this one SO SO MUCH I cannot stop reading it yesyesyes. 
Also, it shouldn't be THAT funny, but I used to work at an Apple Store, and my co-worker Jeremy was also kind of a dick, so I got a chuckle out of that. XD
